Bernardo Gardeners Garden Club

California Coastal Rose Society

The California Coastal Rose Society meets on the third Tuesday of the month (except for July & August) at Heritage Hall, 2650 Garfield, Carlsbad, which is located in the northwest corner of Magee Park.

California Rare Fruit Growers, San Diego North County Chapter

The San Diego North County Chapter of the California Rare Fruit Growers was created to educate people about rare fruits, to identify fruits that are adaptable to the local area, and to propagate and to exchange plant materials.

California Rare Fruit Growers, San Diego Chapter

The San Diego Chapter of the California Rare Fruit Growers was created to educate people about rare fruits, to identify fruits that are adaptable to the local area, and to propagate and to exchange plant materials.

Meetings are at 7pm, fourth Wednesday of the month (except during November and December, when it shifts to the third Wednesday) in Casa del Prado Building (usually room 101) in Balboa Park.

Carlsbad Garden Club

Carlsbad Garden Club meets on the first Friday from September to June at Meeting Room #1, Calavera Hills Community Center, 2997 Glasgow Dr., Carlsbad. The meetings start at 12:30 p.m. and refreshments are always served. Meetings are open to the public and we look forward to meeting new gardeners!

Del Mar Rose Society

The Del mar Rose Society meets monthly on the last Thursday of each month, January through September, with the exception of June. The meetings take place at the Powerhouse Community Center on Coast Blvd. and begin with a coffee social at 6:30pm followed by the program at 7pm. The public is welcome to attend.

Palomar Cactus and Succulent Society

We meet at 12 noon on the 4th Saturday of the month (exceptions in 2008- March and May- 3rd Saturday) at the Joslyn Senior Center 210 E. Park Ave., Escondido, CA.
Monthly meetings include a raffle, plant sales, and an exchange table as well as a guest speaker. Visitors are welcome.

Palomar Orchid Society

Meetings are free and open to the public. General meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month at 7 PM, Carlsbad Woman’s Club, 3320 Monroe St., Carlsbad. Meeting topics cover a variety of topics including orchid habitat, cultural practices, and other topics of interest requested by members. Most meetings are preceded by a “hands on” cultural session for beginners and others interested in increasing their knowledge of potting techniques, hybridizing, pest control, etc.

Vista Garden Club

General Meetings: First Friday of every month (except July and August) at noon, in the Vista Senior Center, 1400 Vale Terrace in Vista.

Notes: Visitors are welcome to attend our meetings and share in our fingertip luncheon. Each month we have a program addressing some aspect of gardening. Prior to the monthly meetings we have either a workshop or a tour. Membership is open to everyone, and dues are a nominal $25.00 a year or $40.00 for a family.
